Alissa White-Gluz

Alissa is the former leader singer of the metalcore Canadian group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz was born July 31 of 1985. She is an Canadian musician best known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic metal group Arch Enemy. Alissa also was a co-founder and lead vocalist of the Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She sings with both smooth and grizzly vocals. While she is most often known for her melodic and contemporary metalcore, as well as metalcore, she's also performed as a singer in power metal, deathcore, symphonic and symphonic bands. They include Kamelot as well as Delain. Agonist (2004-2014) Agonist (2004-2014) From 2004 White-Gluz founded the Agonist (then was referred to as "Tempest") alongside other band members Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. White-Gluz released three albums as The lead vocalist of The Agonist. The group disbanded the band in early 2014 after she was offered the chance to become the singer of Arch Enemy.
