Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson hails from the United States and is an actress, producer and writer, singer/director. Most famously, she is best known for her part on the TV drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. Her father is Jewish as is her mom. She was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. The career of Benson has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She was in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. In front of the camera, she utilized her creative writing abilities in writing her character Ghosts of Albion and direct projects like 2010's Drones. Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist in the universe and that 500 are members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers will now become Slayers when they reach the age of maturity. Soledad's Slayer power was revealed on her sixteenth Birthday. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in Supernatural's Season 10 It seems that she is an old-fashioned, mysterious Witch.
