Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding athletes. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) were raised there. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won a gold in the floor and bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Within two years she had won the sport. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, and the high degree of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
